Built from nothing, funded, and still evolving.
The raise was the milestone. The relationship was the result.
The role has changed shape more than once — a brand before there was a product, screens as it got built, a pitch when it needed money, a system once it shipped.
Which means there's no surface of this company I didn't draw, and no version of it that existed before I did.
And every year it grows — until the job stops being every screen and becomes the foundation that can scale without me.
No critique loop. No design partner. No second pass. Every call was final by default — not because it was right, but because the next thing was already due.
So I stopped designing screens and started designing rules. The system on this page reads as craft. It was survival — the only way one person keeps five years of surfaces speaking the same language. It’s still not finished — patterns drift the moment no one owns them, and for most of five years no one did.
Exploration, and the luxury of being wrong slowly.
A visual language that outlived every pivot.
Own adoption, not just the system. Writing the rule was never the hard part.
The hardest part was never the design. It was making Solo real before anyone could see it.
